Our youth programs involve youth from Middle School and High School. Led by Laurie and Andrew, a typical week in the life includes Sunday school (9:30 am), Sunday evening youth group (ROCK and DOOR), small groups, and rehearsals for the youth choir. Throughout the school year, the weekends are chock-full of goodness with retreats, lock-ins, concerts, and service days. The summers are packed with mission trips, conferences and other fun.
ROCK and DOOR
Each Sunday from 6pm-8pm, ROCK and DOOR meet. During a normal month, we'll worship, play games, do service projects, Bible Study and discussions. Dinner is provided and a typical Sunday night concludes with worship and prayer. Regular ROCK and DOOR meet from September to May.
Sunday School
Sunday School for Middle and High School youth is held every Sunday at 9:30 am during the school year. Middle School youth meet in Rooms 208/209 and the high school group meets at Gryphon Café on Lancaster Avenue.
During the summer months, youth are encouraged to worship with their families.
Confirmation
Confirmation occurs each year from December to May. Students in 8th grade or older who wish to be confirmed are invited to participate in the process. Email Andrew for more information.
Youth Choir
Students in grades 6 through 12 can sing in the Westminster Choir, the Youth Choir of the
church. Rehearsals are Sunday nights, 5pm to 6pm before ROCK and DOOR. An
alternate rehearsal is offered on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The choir takes annual retreats and choir tours throughout the season. Email
