Speaker: Jeannie Bowman “Standing on the Threshold: Trusting in God”
When everything goes along just as you’ve planned, life is Great! But what happens when it doesn’t go as you had hoped, when things seem to be more confusing than not, when life turns itself upside down? Jeannie will share some of the times in her life when she found herself ‘standing on the threshold’, not quite knowing what was next and learning to trust God in the unknown.
Jeannie Bowman, former Children’s Music Ministries Associate, has been a friend and active participant in the women’s and music ministry of WPC for almost 30 years. She has led small groups, confirmation classes, prayer support groups, handbell choirs, and Creative Arts Series for both Wayne Pres and St. Luke Lutheran in Devon. She seeks spiritual direction from the Middleton Center in Bryn Mawr.
Our mission outreach for the breakfast will be to young readers. Please bring a book for early elementary age children to be shared with several of our Wayne Presbyterian mission partners.
