Welcome to the Front Page, the digital cover of the Wayne Press.  Here we will share with you things that can't be captured in our newsletter--videos, music, color photographs--as well as articles that reflect on faith and life.

Lent 3.25

Nadia Bolz-Weber is a super sassy and faithful pastor at a church somewhat like Broad Street Ministries.  She preached this sermon last week on the Woman at the Well.  In it she says, "Sometimes being seen is painful, even if it's what we want more than anything else in the world."

When we seek repentance, we are allowing ourselves to be seen by God.  We are seen fully and completely.  We are vulnerable and laid bare.  And we trust that when we show ourselves to God, when we seek God's forgiveness or seek God's power to help us change, God always responds with mercy, with grace, with love.
