Today is the third Sunday of Advent.  Today we light the candle of Joy and hear these words from Isaiah 35, verses 1 through 10. The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing.
