Lent, Day 4

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of Lent and the scripture passage is from Mark 1 and tells us about the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness.  The painting below is by Ilya Repin, a Russian painter who painted at the beginning of the 20th century.  This work is called, Follow me, Satan (The temptation of Christ).   We will not be posting on Sundays during Lent.  Hope you'll check the blog again on Monday. -Laurie Read More
