The Rev. Dr. Anne Clark Duncan serves our church as Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Adult Ministries.

Anne has an undergraduate degree in English and the Humanities and a Masters degree in Management and spent a number of years in book and magazine publishing; in the financial services area as a Human Resources Manager with the Vanguard Group; and on the faculty of Eastern University, teaching adult students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs, before going to seminary for a Master of Divinity degree.

She graduated from Palmer Theological Seminary in 2002 and served for two years as a hospital and hospice chaplain in the Jefferson/Main Line Health System before being called to congregational ministry and ordained, in June of 2004.

Anne had served for three and a half years as Solo Pastor of the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church in Delaware County when she was called by God to Wayne Presbyterian as our Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Adult Ministries (including New Member Orientation, Small Group Ministries, Adult Education, Women's and Men's Ministries, Family Ministries - Marriage Preparation, Marriage Mentoring and LifeLine Ministries - and Fellowship, which co-sponsors our all-church chili supper, September Rally Day picnic, Phillies Fireworks games and Neighborhood Gathering)s. She also supports our Communication and Technology committee, and works closely with our Publications Coordinator.

Anne recently completed her Doctor in Ministry/Marriage and Family Systems degree at Palmer Seminary, and is available to meet with parishioners for individual or couples' counseling. She is also active in our women's ministry as the facilitator of our Word Before Work Bible Study on Wednesday mornings. As a trained Stephen Leader, Anne has served as pastoral liaison to our lay caregivers in the Stephen Ministry. She is on the Permanent Judicial Commission of the Philadelphia Presbytery.
