"The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;"
    -Psalm 24:1

Stewardship of God's Creation has been given to human beings and it is our responsibility to see to it that everything in the Universe provides maximum benefit to ALL living creatures, not just us. This responsibility is granted us by God:

"The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it."
    -Genesis 2:15

Every day, in every way, humans compete with all other living creatures for the resources God has provided. To the extent we humans waste and abuse these resources, other creatures suffer, along with the less fortunate of our human population. It is up to us, individually and collectively to reduce consumption, reduce waste, and restore the environment to a condition wherein every creature can make an adequate living.

This section of Wayne Presbyterian Church's website has been designed to provide not only our members, but any other interested party, data useful in deciding how best to care for all of God's Creation for tomorrow and tomorrow.
