This is the last date for youth Sunday school until the end of the summer.

Led by Dr. Michael White will meet at 9:30 am in the Knox Room May 6 through June 24. This class will examine the life and faith of George Washington. It will contrast how modernity portrays Washington with who he really was, consider the nature of deism versus providence, examine the language of faith in the 18th century, and explore Washington’s faithfulness to family, country, God and himself.

If you have been visiting for a while and would like to consider Wayne as your new church home, join us for lunch and an opportunity to meet leadership personnel and other new members.  We will talk together about the church, the denomination and how we can help you find your niche at Wayne.

This group meets to encourage and support each other to better understand the spiritual, emotional, physical and psychological aspects of care giving.

This is the last session of this class focusing on the Parables of Jesus. Each class contains large group teaching and small group discussion. No pre-work is required, but if you want to read in advance, this is the scripture reading:

May 25 - The Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22:1-14, Luke 14:15-24)

We will work on several of the shorter sections of the Bible, often spending only 1-2 classes on a single book, selecting some from the Old Testament (probably Jonah and Habakkuk, and possibly Malachi) and several from the New Testament including Philemon and other Pastoral Letters as well as some of the General Letters (written by others besides Paul).
