After Bill was discharged from the Air Force, he spent a year in Colorado Springs, CO with the Navigators, an interdenominational Christian organization. He graduated from Boston University and while teaching on Cape Cod, met his wife, Dorcas, also a teacher. They moved with their daughter, Becky, to Rochester, New York where Bill graduated from Colgate-Rochester with an MDiv. He was Associate Pastor at Parkminster Presbyterian Church in Chili, outside of Rochester, for ten years and then became a solo pastor for sixteen years in Lambertville, New Jersey. After retirement, Bill and Dorcas went to Vero Beach, Florida where Bill was part-time Pastor of Visitation. After they returned to the north, Bill was called as an interim pastor in Ridley Park. From there, he became Associate for the Care of Pastors in the Philadelphia Presbytery. Bill has been assisting Steven Harberts, Associate of Pastoral Care, on a part time basis since 2006.
