Andy Greenhow

Andy Greenhow (agreenhow@waynepres.org) serves the Wayne church as Director of Young Adult Ministries, facilitating opportunities for education, mission, and fellowship for people in that post-college up to early 30's age group.

He grew up locally but ran off to Canada for college, graduating with a degree in Cinema Studies, Political Science and Middle East & Islamic Studies.  Then he went to New Orleans, his spiritual home, for some years, rebuilding houses destroyed in the floods following Hurricane Katrina.  He moved back to the Philly area to come to seminary and worked at Broad Street Ministry, one of Wayne's mission partners, where he learned to love the craft of good church ministry.

Now he's finishing his seminary education and planning for a life of pastoral ministry. He cares about things like Coen Brothers films, good music (funk, New Orleans brass band, folk, old school hip hop), compelling fiction, race theory, travelling, the desert, Philadelphia Phillies baseball, English soccer, and playing his cello.  You may have seen him in parallel universes as the goalie for the Philadelphia Flyers, a sousaphone player in a New Orleans brass band, a brewer of beer or a roaster of coffee.
